This method eliminates the high costs associated with excavation, waste disposal, and replacement fill, while allowing treatment beneath existing concrete slabs, asphalt roads, and track or ballast formations. Resin can be injected at targeted depths of up to 12 metres, strengthening soils exactly where improvement is required.
Site Investigation & Information Required
A detailed site survey is carried out to determine existing soil performance, typically including:
- Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) to assess ground-bearing capacity
- Soil stiffness surveys to measure in-situ performance
- Borehole investigations to understand ground composition and stratification

Void Filling
Void filling involves injecting high density polyurethane foam or Cementous grout beneath sunken or unstable concrete slabs to fill gaps caused by soil erosion, settling or poor backfilling.
Floor and Slab lifting
Floor slab stabilisation involves injecting materials, typically high-density polyurethane foam or geopolymer resins, beneath the concrete slabs to fill voids, compact soil and restore structural support.
This technique fixes sinking, rocking, or uneven floors, prevents cracking, and enhances load bearing capacity with excavation.
